They maintain high quality standards through leadership while staying within company guidelines and adhering to all local, state, and federal laws. Supervises the feed production and delivery operations. Services our customers on time and ensures them of a quality production.Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesCoordinate production, distribution, and warehousing of feedSchedule and monitor daily production including running ton totals, ordering product, and scheduling productionOversee the feed production from receiving ingredients through field placement serviceEnsure that the feed produced meets nutritional guidelinesInventory feed and deliver as scheduledOversee the maintenance and housekeeping of the feedmill with a preventative maintenance programDevelop and oversee plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and human resourcesReview production costs and product qualityModify production and inventory control programs as neededDevelop operating schedules, work and downtime schedules, and conducts parts inventoryEstablish goals and project plans; provide budget administrationCompile and analyze production reportsReview and monitor permit processes for air quality, mound, and rainwater runoffPrepare and monitor annual budget in accordance to Company guidelinesInterpret and communicate statistical findings to management team membersComply and follow company requirements regarding biosecurity, food safety and poultry welfare programs and policiesCommunicate daily with customers and inter-company personnel.Always maintain a clean and safe work areaParticipate in company and department safety programComply with company policies and proceduresAdhere to all safety rules including PPE, preventing, and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures and Process Safety Management related mattersMinimum EducationHigh school or equivalentExperience Requirements1 - 3 years related experienceof Feed Mill or Poultry related management experienceProficient in Excel and WordAbility to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical proceduresAbility to read and write reports and procedure manualsAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentagesEnvironmental Factors and Physical RequirementsAbility to use hands to feel objects, tools, and controlsAbility to lift, push or pull up to 10-pound boxes and materials regularlyAbility to regularly stand, walk, and climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawlAbility to climb staircases and ladders up to 120 feetMust be able to swing a 15 lb. sledgehammerExposure to all seasonal weather conditionsExposure to significant amounts of air borne dustExposure to sustained noise levels >
