What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Tech Coordinator position at Inova Health System?
Inova Center for Personal Health is looking for a dedicated Mental Health Technician Coordinator to join the team. This role will be full-time night 3-12's Sunday - Tuesday and every other Saturday (times vary 7pm-7am, 8pm-8am and 8:30pm-8:30am.

Mental Health Technician Coordinator Job Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative support by answering phones, transcribing orders and maintaining charts.
- Provides basic triage of patients, registers patients, takes vital signs and provides information on status.
- Communicates abnormal values and clinical changes to the appropriate staff member within 15 minutes.
- Answers and screens telephone calls while providing appropriate information or referring to other staff members.
- Registers patients for emergency and outpatient services while ensuring complete and accurate information is obtained.
- Schedules appointments in automated scheduling system. Makes copies, sends/receives faxes and opens/distributes mail.
- Reinforces transition/discharge teaching and home care skills.
Additional Requirements:

This position requires rotation shifts working at Inova Fairfax main Hospital also. - Education: High School
- Experience: One-year relevant experience
- Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association. Upon start
