Purpose : To monitor activity on company property to ensure a drug free workplace, the safety of team members person and property along with enforcing traffic expectations on property. Responsibilities : Act in accordance with the state and federal law as per departmental policies and associated trainingPerforms general law enforcement duties including patrolling, checking property, maintaining order and public safetyIssues traffic and parking citations per company policyConducts investigationsResponds to and assists in all medical emergencies.Assists in conducting fire drills and evacuating buildingsProvides security escorts for personnelAttends required periodic training sessionsPerforms other duties as required to meet the clients needs.Basic Qualifications : High school diploma (or equivalent) requiredBe at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent for non-driving and 21 years of age for driving positionsActive Duty Post Certified Law Enforcement Officer requiredRequired licensing as necessary per state guidelinesKnowledge of law enforcement proceduresSkill and ability to follow-up with investigationsAbility to make law enforcement related decisionsAbility to communicate effectively.WORK ENVIRONMENT : The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be exposed to an office environment, the parking lot and possibly the production environment in case of emergencies. The production environment consists of wet and / or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the production environment is usually loud.Applicant must also be able to do the following : Sitting 70% of the time and Standing 30% Workable use of both hands and able to grasp. Good eye sight (with or without corrective lens). Able to perform repetitive task. Able to walk, stand, reach, bend, climb, push, pull, and stoup. Able to lift up to 30 lbs. in weight.
