- Ensures that pricing, availability, and approximate delivery dates are given to end-users daily or at the time of ordering.
- Reconciles pharmaceutical purchases for pre-payment statements while providing usage reports for customers .
- Updates the Primary Vendor Information System and verifies and submits invoices to Accounts Receivable.
- Processes out of date item returns via contract agents in a timely manner, processes credit to prime vendor weekly, and processes all received items to their designated location within Pharmacy daily.
- Orders controlled substances via C-II safe estimates or other modes while utilizing DEA guidelines.
- Ensures that accurate report information regarding products, pricing and usage are supplied to end-users as requested and ensures that all recall information is communicated to the appropriate departments and/or other personnel as needed.
- Work schedule: 40-hour/week (Monday – Friday, day shift).
- Education: High School or GED.
- Experience: Two (2) year of buying experience in a Pharmacy.
- Certification: Certified Pharmacy Technician in the state of Virginia
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months of hire.
