What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Set-Up Operator position at Inova Staffing Services?
Inova Staffing is looking to hire CNC set up/operators for one of our clients in Solon, Ohio. This is a direct hire position.
This client specializes in extremely precise machining and every day will look completely different. If you are looking for a place to learn more about machining on a daily basis, this could be a great fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and adjust CNC machines (3-5 axis CNC mills).
- Perform first piece runs to verify that machines are producing parts in accordance with specifications.
- Maintain tight tolerances and perform quality checks on work.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents to carry out tasks.
- Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and indicators.
- Monitor machine performance during operations and make adjustments to ensure optimal results.
- Inspect and measure finished components to ensure they meet required specifications.
- Perform daily maintenance and checks on machinery to guarantee proper functionality.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- US Citizenship required
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience operating CNC equipment
- At least 2 years of experience setting up CNC machines

1st shift hours: 6am-4:30pm
2nd shift hours: 4:30pm-3am
50 hour work week is standard, with opportunity for double time on Saturdays
