What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Accounts/Insurance Verifier - Loudoun ASC position at Inova Surgery Center?
Inova Loudoun Surgery Center is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to perform Insurance Verification for a busy Ambulatory Surgery Center.
As a member of our business office team, you will verify medical benefits, confirm patients’ financial responsibility, ensure facility compliance with Care Management requirements and other related duties as a key team member supporting the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
Qualified candidates will present:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years benefits knowledge of local payors preferably in an ambulatory surgery center, business office of an acute care hospital, or medical office.
• Proficiency in general administrative office experience, including typing, filing, handling phone calls.
Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented and self-motivated with some experience in a medical office. Knowledge of CPT codes, ICD-9 codes, and HIPAA laws are preferred. Candidate should be a quick learner with excellent customer service skills, ability to multitask with high degree of accuracy and efficiency, and strong interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with patients, doctors and staff.
