The Press Helper is a key support role in our production team, assisting press operators with daily tasks to ensure smooth operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Mount printing plates and pull/file plate files accurately.
- Mix inks according to job specifications.
- Retrieve and return dies, anilox rolls, and other materials as needed.
- Perform roll changes and verify material specifications.
- Ensure press areas remain clean and organized, including removing trash from production, finishing, and stockroom areas.
- Maintain an adequate supply of consumables and complete monthly inventory checks.
- Assist with press operations, including setup, teardown, and cleanup.
- Wash anilox rolls, ink trays, splashguards, and other press components.
- Maintain accurate data entry for production records.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and safety regulations.
- Develop skills to provide press operator coverage during breaks and lunches.
- Replenish press-side supply levels daily.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Math Skills: Ability to measure items, work with fractions, and read a ruler.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of inventory and manufacturing software preferred.
- Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally.
- Requires close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and color recognition.

- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.

Salary : $17 - $18
