Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious RFID Finishing Operator to set up and operate RFID machinery in accordance with daily production orders. This role requires strict adherence to operational and safety procedures to ensure efficiency, quality, and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and follow daily production orders to meet customer specifications.
- Set up and operate RFID equipment, including IL15000 and PL Light systems.
- Obtain supervisor approval before beginning production runs.
- Accurately complete production paperwork and follow inspection procedures.
- Monitor production to ensure proper inlay registration and encoding.
- Make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy.
- Conduct final inspections, count overruns, and prepare samples upon job completion.
- Record setup time, run time, cleanup time, output quantity, and any special job notes.
- Maintain RFID equipment cleanliness and ensure proper operational condition.
- Continuously seek efficiency improvements while upholding quality standards.
- Comply with company policies and safety regulations at all times.
- Report any operational concerns or discrepancies to management.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in RFID technology, printing, or a related production environment is preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Proficiency in basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Familiarity with Label Traxx and Nice Label software is a plus.

- RFID Machinery: IL15000 Inlay Machine, PL Light Encoding Machine
- Printing & Labeling: Printronix Label Printer, Tabletop Reroller
- Scanning & Verification: Handheld RFID Scanner
- Other Tools: Desktop Computer, Rulers, Electric and Manual Pallet Jacks
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand, walk, use hands, and reach for extended periods.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs regularly.
- Requires close vision, peripheral vision, color recognition, and focus adjustment.
Work Environment:
- Regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
- Occasional exposure to electrical shock risks and vibrations.
- The noise level is moderate, requiring focus and attention to detail.
