What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Customer Support position at Inovaxe Corporation?
This is a position for an entry-level Technical Support role in the SMT / Electronics Manufacturing industry. It is for an entry-level individual at the start of their career.
This position is a new position due to the expansion of the support department.
No experience necessary - fresh grads welcome. We are willing to teach and train the right candidate. You must be motivated, willing to learn, and have a positive attitude. Take notes, ask a lot of questions, and communicate effectively to your team. Most importantly, take initiative and ownership of your role - you will be the first line of defense for support.
This is an in-office only position. The office is located in East Boca, newly renovated, very clean and modern tech environment. There is room for growth and some travel can be expected.
Huge Pluses:
Bi-Lingual (Spanish, huge plus). Experience with electronics, computers, Windows OS (huge plus), and somewhat knowledgeable about networking and network security (willing to teach), mechanical equipment, and excellent with email and verbal communication with technical representatives of other businesses. We are B2B.
Knowledge with SQL is a huge plus but most certainly not expected. Definitely bonus points if you even know what SQL is.
Your day-to-day will be answering customer emails, being assigned customer emails to take action on, testing software, and setting up equipment and doing software training remotely. Setup and training may become on-site and require traveling as your role, knowledge, and experience progresses.
You will spend time trouble-shooting customer systems, looking at software logs and reporting it to the software team via a ticketing system, and take additional actions based on feedback from the software team. Eventually, you will take your own actions, manage your own customer accounts and hopefully, become mostly independent.
You will also spend time doing quality assurance checks on newly produced equipment, assist with setting up computers and software for production, and testing all of the above for quality assurance purposes.
You will also help manage the ticketing system, maintaining support ticket updates, follow-ups, and resolution of open tickets.
IMPORTANT: Travel may become a requirement based on your progression. You must be permitted to travel domestically and internationally with a valid passport. You must also be clear to pass security and background checks when dealing with our military and aerospace customers.
