Job Description :
We are looking for a NOC Technician to join our intelligence program supporting a key government customer in McLean, Virginia. In this role, you will support the 24x7 Network Operations Center in providing network monitoring and service.
Job Duties / Responsibilities :
- Support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), customer networks, Intranet and Internet and other data communications systems or a segment of a network system.
- Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
- Perform routine network startup / shutdown procedures and maintain control records
Required Qualifications :
Ten (10) years of relevant experience, which can be a combination of degree and work history :High School diploma plus 10 years of work history
Associate's degree plus 8 years of work historyBachelors' degree plus 6 years of work historyMasters plus 4 years of work historyHands on troubleshooting and fault isolation of IT systemsAble and willing to work a shift schedule that includes weekend and holiday work.Desired Qualifications :
Experience with OpenText's Network Node Manager / NOM.Experience with ServiceNow ITOMNetwork certifications Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Juniper JNCIA, JNCIS, or JNCIE, ITIL Foundations, and / or CISSP.Work Hours / Schedule :
DayshiftSunday / Wednesday : 6am - 2pm
Monday / Tuesday : 6am - 6pmPosition requires active security clearance with appropriate Polygraph.
Pay Range : Competitive
