Job Summary :
The Inside Sales Team Member is responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and providing exceptional customer service. This role will support the sales team by assisting with order management, responding to customer requests, and proactively seeking opportunities to drive sales growth. The position requires strong communication skills, a focus on customer satisfaction, and the ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Customer Relationship Management :
Handle incoming sales inquiries via phone, email, and online channels, ensuring prompt and courteous responses.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing product recommendations.
Assist with resolving customer issues, managing expectations, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Order Management :
Process orders accurately and efficiently in the system, ensuring all details are correct and timelines are met.
Coordinate with the production, logistics, and shipping departments to ensure on-time delivery of products.
Follow up with customers on order status, shipping details, and delivery schedules.
Sales Support :
Assist the outside sales team by providing product information, pricing, and other relevant details as needed.
Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to support promotional activities and campaigns.
Actively participate in sales meetings, providing insights and updates on customer trends and needs.
Reporting & Documentation :
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and order details in the CRM system.
Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and any other documentation as required by the Sales Manager.
Qualifications :
Strong customer service and sales-oriented mindset, with a focus on problem-solving and relationship-building.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced office environment.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
Knowledge of farm and ranch equipment is a plus, but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
Ability to work collaboratively with team members across various departments.
Education and Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or a related field.
Experience in the agricultural or manufacturing industry is a plus.
