Medical Assistant (Full-Time)

As a Medical Assistant at Integrated Psych Solutions (IPS), you will be part of a revolutionary breakthrough in mental healthcare! We have an integrated, early-intervention approach to mental healthcare that benefits patients, staff, and the facilities we work with. IPS is a Georgia-based healthcare organization that provides mental health services to local healthcare facilities, including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and acute care centers. We also have an extensive outpatient program in Georgia and Florida. Founded in 2019, we are in an exciting growth stage with multiple expansion opportunities in the near term and a clear path for growth and leadership within the company. 

In this role, you will assist the needs of our psychiatric team in the outpatient setting. This position will be full-time, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer phones, handle client calls, and provide professional, accurate responses to their inquiries and concerns.
• Manage referrals and schedule patient appointments
• Call insurance for prior authorization and copay information.
• Assist providers in administrative tasks.
• Call in prescriptions to the pharmacy as needed and work on meds before authorizations.
• Provide overall psychiatric care and site support with the Care Manager
• Ensure all office processes and policies are being followed.
• Works closely with the Outpatient Care Manager on overall site management
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED. 
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare preferred or equivalent job experience
• 2 years of experience in a health services setting, Psychiatry preferred.
• Experience supporting medical providers 
• Professional references attest to a high degree of clinical judgment, customer service, punctuality, and professionalism.
• Must have a completed CPR/First Aid Certification

Hourly Rate: $12 - $15 per hour

Salary : $12 - $15
