Summary of Purpose:
The Senior Program Manager in Learning Delivery is responsible for leading the design, management, and facilitation of high-quality training programs and seminars. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts to create engaging and effective learning experiences that meet the needs of diverse audiences. Key responsibilities include ensuring the use of best practices in adult learning and leveraging technology to enhance training outcomes. This position requires strong leadership, project management skills, and a deep understanding of instructional design and facilitation techniques.
Essential Functions
- Manages and facilitates National Academy for Nuclear Training courses and seminars
- Works with consultants and industry personnel to develop, manage, and facilitate courses and seminars
- Develops, implements, and maintains high-quality programs and courses
- Develops, facilitates, instructs, and maintains high quality training and qualification programs
- Develops and maintains up-to-date training lesson plans and materials
- Uses diverse training methodologies to enhance the student learning experience
- Keeps abreast of INPO/industry business issues and changes that affect internal training
- Performs other duties as assigned

Education, Licenses, and Certifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, organizational development, industrial and organizational psychology, or a relevant specialty area
- Relevant technical knowledge in adult learning, continuing education, or a relevant specialty area
- Professional certifications in training, adult learning, continuing education, or a relevant specialty area
- Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) certification
Experience
Required
- Six or more years of professional work experience
- Four or more years of experience in a commercial nuclear power plant or in training, adult learning, continuing education, or other related specialty area
Preferred
- Five or more years nuclear plant experience or relevant experience in specialty area
- Presentation and facilitation skills experience in two or more technical areas or leadership
- Management and leadership experience in the nuclear, non-nuclear industry, or at INPO
Additional Requirements
Work Context
- Must be able to work prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to work under minimal supervision
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and crawl
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
- Must have a US state or territory issued Real ID compliant driver’s license or identification card
