Input Technology Solutions is seeking an HR Generalist for a new full-time position in Saint Louis, Missouri!

The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the HR function within the company. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of HR principles and practices and the ability to handle various HR tasks including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, legal compliance, compensation programs, and process development. The HR Generalist will work closely with management to implement HR strategies that support organizational goals and foster a positive culture and work environment.

Job Responsibilities / Essential Functions / Competencies

The HR Generalist will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's end-to-end business functions. This role encompasses a blend of transactional, analytical, and strategic responsibilities aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the HR operations. The HR Generalist will collaborate with various stakeholders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals and ensure a positive work environment.

1. Transactional HR Support :

  • Manage daily HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining HR records.
  • Administer employee benefits and compensation programs.
  • Handle employee inquiries and ensure compliance with policies and laws.

2. Analytical HR Support :

  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights for process improvements.
  • Conduct HR audits and prepare reports for management.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to HR functions.
  • 3. Strategic HR Support :

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business needs.
  • Partner with leadership to support organizational goals.
  • Drive talent acquisition and retention efforts.
  • Facilitate performance management and employee development.
  • Create and develop programs and frameworks around training, promotion, and compensation.
  • Administer routine tasks in sensitive situations, including accommodations, investigations, and terminations.
  • Oversee disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations, while providing HR recommendations to leadership on addressing employee relations issues.
  • 4. Talent Acquisition :

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to select qualified candidates.
  • Source diverse talent pools using various recruitment channels.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and ongoing development sessions.
  • 5. Employee Relations :

  • Address HR-related inquiries and resolve conflicts.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives.
  • Partner with managers to execute HR and employee experience strategies.
  • Provide support and guidance to leadership on complex or sensitive HR issues.
  • Engage with employees one-on-one regarding policies, benefits, and compensation.
  • 6. Performance Management :

  • Assist in developing and implementing performance management systems.
  • Support managers in conducting appraisals and setting goals.
  • 7. Compliance and Reporting :

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Regularly review employment laws and regulations and make recommendations regarding best practices and requirements.
  • Prepare and submit required HR reports and documentation.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR processes and records.
  • Skills necessary to be successful in this role include the following :

    Core Functional / Technical Skills Requirement Compliance and Legal KnowledgeKeeping up to date with labor laws, industry standards, and company policies is essential. HR Generalists ensure the organization adheres to all legal regulations and minimize risks related to employment law.

    Compensation and Benefits Administration Managing payroll, benefits programs, and ensuring competitive compensation packages are critical responsibilities. This also involves staying informed about industry standards to offer attractive benefits?.

    Employee Relations and Engagement Strong interpersonal skills are required to handle employee relations, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive work environment.

    Process Improvement Continuously seeks new ways of working to make processes run smoother and faster.

    Recruitment and Talent Acquisition Responsible for screening and hiring qualified candidates. This includes developing job descriptions, managing job postings, and conducting interviews to fill organizational vacancies?.

    Conflict Resolution Effective conflict resolution skills are essential for managing and resolving workplace disputes. HR Generalists must mediate conflicts, provide solutions, and maintain a harmonious work environment?.

    Data Analysis Collects, analyzes and interprets data to reach conclusions and / or present insights and findings.

    Change Management The role plays a critical role in managing organizational change, including restructuring, mergers, or cultural shifts. They help develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions and employee buy-in?demand.

    Compliance and Reporting Ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. This includes managing HR audits, preparing necessary documentation, and staying updated with legal changes to mitigate risks and maintain compliance.

    REQUIREMENTS :

  • Highly knowledgeable and confident in carrying out human resources activities.
  • Passion for delivering a positive employee experience, culture, and engagement.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution ability.
  • Analytical and organized with the ability to manage multiple open initiatives, projects, and tasks in an effective manner.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations in a multi-state employment environment.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to build positive and collaborative relationships within the organization.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Strong business acumen.
  • QUALIFICATIONS : Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications :

  • PHR, SPHR Preferred.
  • Work Experience :

  • 3-4 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably within a diverse technology environment, supporting departments such as Operations, Engineering, Professional Services, Finance, Sales, and Sales Operations.
  • Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on routine assignments.
