Job Description:
InReach is looking for a full-time Operations Manager in the Charlotte area. This role is responsible for monitoring agency residential operations, fleet management, organizational policies & protocols and emergency procedures to ensure the safety and health of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and staff.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm *evenings & weekend hours may be required*
Location: 4014 Monroe Rd. Bldg. 4 Suite 170 Charlotte, NC 28205 *There will be travel at times to multiple counties including Mecklenburg, Union, Cabarrus, & Catawba*
Pay Rate: $47,500/year (Salaried)
Responsibilities may include (but not limited to):
- Monitors, oversees and coordinates the upkeep of all properties including group homes, licensed and unlicensed AFL homes, and HUD apartments/condos.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, and standards by interpreting, monitoring, and implementing related laws, standards, and regulations, maintaining records.
- Promotes individual self-determination by recognizing individual diversity, advocating for individual rights, using person first language, supporting personal outcomes, etc.
- Ensures the safety of employees and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) by providing training and oversight of safety standards, InReach policies and regulations.
- Collaborates with local community resources to provide information for individuals with I/DD and staff.
- Manages fleet vehicles.
- Provides directives, feedback, and 1:1 training to Group Home staff.
- Serves as a liaison with vendors and business associates.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, networking, and maintaining required certifications.
- Flexibility with travel if/when needed.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or GED
- Three years of experience in human services
- Two years of operations experience preferred
- Possess a valid driver's license and maintain safe driving record
- Ability to be certified in BBP, OSHA, FA/CPR and Defensive Driving
- Ability to perform duties, physical tasks, and mental tasks
