What We Need : Position available to work every other weekend / alternating weekend in a residential setting for an adult coed home with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I / DD) in Mecklenburg County. This is an overnight sleep stay on Friday and Saturday at the residential home on the weekends that you work. The Residential Weekend staff provides care for I / DD individuals with support in the training needed to help them learn how to care for themselves in areas such as cooking, housekeeping, using leisure time, and routine health care.

All InReach applicants are required to have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a drug screen and background check. The applicant must be at least 21 years old and have six months' direct experience working with individuals with disabilities (paid or volunteer) preferred. In lieu of experience with disabilities, other relevant experience may be considered with additional on-the-job training. All experience must be verifiable.
