The Role


We're seeking an experienced Head of Finance and Business Operations to oversee InRhythm's financial operations and strategic initiatives. This role combines financial leadership with operational oversight, requiring a dynamic individual who can drive business growth while maintaining operational excellence.


Responsibilities


Financial Leadership & Strategic Implementation


  • Help manage all practices, P&L, and profitability. Help launch new practices
  • Direct all financial forecasting, budgeting, and revenue recognition processes to drive business performance
  • Lead strategic finance initiatives, including resource allocation, RFP management, and gross margin optimization
  • Forecast and analyze resource utilization, capacity, and revenue projections
  • Collaborate with sales and management teams to align resource allocation with business pipeline
  • Monitor key performance indicators, including planned vs actual hours, project budgets, and consultant utilization
  • Strong focus on modern real-time intelligent dashboards and analytics tools.
  • Manage and own all platforms (PSA, ATS, Salesforce) automation and ensure all data integrity is being met, inclusive of vendor license negotiations
  • Ensure that all expenditure is controlled, challenged, and minimized via appropriate use of systems, continuous process improvement, and commitment to quality and investments in technology
  • Develop strong internal and financial controls, information systems, reporting systems, and analytic tools that effectively help top management and other key executives to understand, manage and grow the business
  • Develop effective relationships with external auditors and tax advisors, legal advisors, Board members, investors, bankers and financial analysts


Operational Management


  • Oversee global operations, with a particular focus on establishing and managing India's back-office operations
  • Supervise Global Accounting and FP&A teams across US and India locations
  • Lead strategic resource planning and allocation, matching consultants to projects and managing bench resources strategically
  • Drive daily operational Rhythm through structured team meetings
  • Apply rigorous methodologies and best practices to optimize resource allocation processes
  • Manage all software and systems, particularly the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives


Team Leadership & Oversight


  • Direct global finance and accounting teams across US and India, ensuring alignment between daily operations, strategic financial planning, and comprehensive reporting frameworks.
  • Lead global talent acquisition strategy and resource optimization through direct reports, ensuring alignment between recruitment metrics, bench management, and financial objectives.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and strategic alignment by leading finance, HR, and and talent acquisition teams and working collaboratively with sales and delivery teams in optimizing resource utilization, driving automation initiatives, and ensuring seamless system integrations across departments.


Performance & Culture


  • Create a culture of strong margins, data-driven decision making, strong KPIs with scorecards and dashboards, and a culture of meritocracy driven by performance and goals.
  • Implement and maintain comprehensive performance dashboards for tracking business metrics
  • Foster a culture of accountability and transparency across all operations driven by KPIs and scorecards
  • Drive automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity
  • Lead teams with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving strategic objectives
  • Foster a culture of accountability and transparency across all operations
  • Evaluate and execute potential acquisition targets, investment opportunities, and partnership agreements
  • Optimize capital structure through strategic management of debt, equity, and internal financing


Technology, Compliance & Risk Management


  • Lead legal, HR, and IT functions to ensure compliance
  • Implement and optimize automation tools, including resource management, API integration, and reporting systems
  • Maintain accurate and timely financial reporting and internal controls
  • Implement and maintain comprehensive performance dashboards for tracking business metrics


Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications


  • 10 years of progressive experience in financial management ideally with both external audit and in-house financial management experience gained in a high-growth organization
  • Strong background in professional services or consulting industries
  • Proven track record in financial management and strategic planning
  • Proven track record of implementing automation and efficiency initiatives
  • Strong sense of urgency and exceptional project management capabilities
  • Superior Leadership skills that promote automation and operational efficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and maintain proactive oversight
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams across multiple geographies is a huge plus
  • Experience with international operations, particularly in US-India business context a huge plus
  • Deep understanding of compliance requirements and risk management
  • Strong analytical skills for complex financial modeling and valuations
  • Experience with Salesforce and related business systems
  • Excellent Excel or Google Sheets modeling skills
  • Experience working with QuickBooks, Salesforce, and/or other Cloud Finance ERPs
  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CPA preferred

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is 200,000 - 250,000 per year, base salary. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on level and position offered.

Salary : $200,000 - $250,000
