The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team. Be a part of growing company.
Responsibilities
- Send invoices to customers and manages any related questions / issues.
- Manages all aspects of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Receives all AR/AP related mail, email, and other correspondence.
- Communicates with clients/vendors about billing discrepancies and questions.
- Engages management over any AR problems encountered
- Manages collections of past due accounts, including calls and other correspondence with customers and engaging management as necessary.
- Generates internal reports weekly.
- Other accounting activities
- Assists with monthly status reports, and monthly closings.
- Reconciles various accounts by identifying errors in posting or omissions by applying appropriate accounting standards.
- Files, maintains, and distributes accounting documents, records and reports.
- Performs other duties as required to support Accounting Department.
- Supervise the preparation of Monthly payroll along with the related weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual returns
- Ensure hands-on understanding of all processes
- Using bookkeeping databases, spreadsheets and software
- Reconciling and reporting any discrepancies found in the records
Qualifications
- 0 to 2 years of experience in Accounting is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Experience in AP/AR
- Knowledge of Quick Books
- Clear understanding of any accounting systems
- An effective communicator
- Must be attentive to detail
- Possess a strong work ethic
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is desirable
