We are seeking a creative and results-driven Marketing Strategist to develop and implement effective marketing plans that drive brand awareness, generate leads, and support the growth of our insurance agency group. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing strategies, digital platforms, and insurance industry trends.

Responsibilities

Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing strategies that help businesses achieve their goals and objectives. Below are the key duties and responsibilities of a Marketing Strategist :

Market Research and Analysis

  • Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviors.
  • Analyze industry trends, competitor strategies, and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Utilize data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
  • Developing Marketing Strategies
  • Create comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the companys goals, target audience, and budget.
  • Identify the best marketing channels (e.g., digital, print, social media, etc.) to reach the target audience.
  • Develop content strategies for various platforms, including websites, social media, and email marketing campaigns.

Brand Development and Positioning

  • Develop and maintain a strong brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Define and communicate the brands unique value proposition (UVP) to differentiate it from competitors.
  • Manage brand positioning in the market to ensure the company stands out.
  • Campaign Management

  • Plan, implement, and oversee marketing campaigns to ensure they meet objectives and deadlines.
  • Coordinate with creative teams, designers, and content creators to produce marketing materials.
  • Monitor and adjust campaigns based on performance metrics such as ROI, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Budget Management

  • Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective spending and allocation of resources.
  • Analyze the return on investment (ROI) for each marketing activity and make recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaboration with Teams

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and public relations, to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and vendors for specialized services (e.g., SEO, PPC, content marketing).
  • Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop and implement customer loyalty programs and retention strategies.
  • Ensure a consistent and positive customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Analyze customer feedback and market sentiment to improve marketing efforts.
  • Digital Marketing

  • Oversee digital marketing efforts, including social media, email, search engine optimization (SEO), and paid advertising. This includes but is not limited to the oversight of social media projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and tools, and apply them to marketing strategies.
  • Reporting and Analytics

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, website traffic, and engagement metrics.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management, outlining the success and challenges of marketing strategies.
  • Use analytics tools to measure campaign success and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Trendspotting and Innovation

  • Keep an eye on emerging marketing trends, new technologies, and consumer behavior shifts.
  • Propose innovative marketing techniques and channels to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Stakeholder Communication

  • Communicate marketing plans, progress, and results to stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and investors.
  • Participate in strategic meetings to align marketing efforts with broader business objectives.

  • Requirements

  • Must be tech savvy and familiar with multiple forms of social media / digital marketing efforts and marketing strategies of each
  • Must be currently active on social media so you can know what consumers are seeing
  • Must have marketing or advertising work history or a business degree with a concentration in marketing and / or advertising.
  • Must know how to use / prompt AI systems, such as ChatGPT, in order to assist with job duties.
  • Must be willing to work full-time and in-office, Monday - Friday.
  • Salary : $40,000
