Summary: Exercises responsibility by assisting the Branch manager with planning, organizing, developing plans for increasing sales, profitability, and branch development. Helps direct production, distribution, and marketing operations for branch, or assigned territory by performing the following duties personally or thorough subordinate supervisors. Will be responsible
for the effective operation of the branch in the absence of the Branch Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the manager in the opening and closing of branch and assigning staff according to business necessity.
- Helps Assess Sales opportunities with current dealers and customers.
- Assists in achieve financial objectives and business plans, meet required gross margin targets.
- Works with Branch Manager to set objectives, train employees and educate customers.
- Develop close relationships with current customers while actively seeking and developing new customers.
- Assist Branch manager and TM in account management for equipment-based dealers.
- Maintains an awareness of local market and competitive conditions of local competitors, customer preference and desires,
industry trends, and to communicate such information promptly, with recommendations to management.
- Assists the Branch Manager in development of market plan for branch coverage area.
- Ensures that all company policies are put into effect and carried out at the branch level in a timely manner.
- Implement and support product promotions with current and new vendors.
- Communicates daily with staff on goals, plans, procedures, and protocol in the branch.
- Assists Branch Manager in instituting new policies set forth by company leadership in a timely and positive manner
- Assists Branch manager in effectively controlling inventory, conduct required counts, proper product level setting and
product management.
- Inspire, develop, and motivate employees for future growth within the organization.
- Positively promote Insco, Management, Staff, and vendors at all times.
- Assist the Branch manager in instructing and training all branch functions and computer-based sales programs.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection of capable branch personnel. Hiring and terminations of branch personnel must be
approved by the regional manager and/or Human Resources manager.
Key Competencies:
Team skills effectively utilized as a respected manager, mentor, coach, motivator, and achiever
Microsoft Office Suite computer skills, specifically proficient in Word, Excel, power point, outlook and P21 processing.
Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience required in HVACR industry, products, and services.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of previous management experience preferred.

Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
