Job Description
InServ, a full-service industrial contractor, is seeking a Project Manager to lead our Process Services team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Guiding project development and lifecycle management for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Achieving successful project results through job profitability, labor efficiency, safety performance, equipment utilization, project cash flow, and quality attained as measured by client surveys.
- Overseeing the estimation of work, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining project schedules, monitoring budgets, and tracking completion.
- Managing fabrication and installation of process piping, utility piping, HVAC, plumbing, structural steel, equipment setting, and medical gas that meet code requirements, budget, and on-time installation.
- Maintaining knowledge of working safely in occupied healthcare facilities, industrial, and bio-pharma facilities.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of related experience in process piping, utilities, HVAC, plumbing, structural steel, and equipment setting.
- Experience working on construction projects valued from $10-30 million
- Four-year college degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent education and work experience.
- Technical proficiency in their field of expertise.
Skill Requirements:
- Leadership, coaching, training, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to use computerized project development, scheduling, monitoring, and control systems.
- Extensive knowledge of project management and scheduling techniques.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-management skills.
Work Environment:
This is a project-based role requiring travel to various US site locations. The ability to work nights and weekends for shutdowns and fast-track projects is also required.
