The role of the Distribution Sales Territory Manager for Bell & McCoy Integrated Solutions will be to focus on the Audio/Video Distribution Channel. This position will be an Outside Sales Role focusing on in person visits to distribution counter personnel, and in-field visits to contractors that purchase through the distribution channel. This role will be responsible for growing our business and sales thru the channel by influencing the distribution and dealer customers to use our products and teaching them how to best sell and install these products in their projects.
Roles And Responsibilities In Order Of Priority
Role will receive a salary plus bonus, salary will be determined by candidate level of professional experience. Bonus will be determined from the role’s effectiveness in the position, and overall team performance growing sales.

Distribution Sales Territory Manager

The role of the Distribution Sales Territory Manager for Bell & McCoy Integrated Solutions will be to focus on the Audio/Video Distribution Channel. This role will be responsible for growing our business and sales thru the channel by influencing the distribution and dealer customers to use our products and teaching them how to best sell and install these products in their projects.
Roles And Responsibilities In Order Of Priority
- Territory will include Southeast TX, including Houston, Beaumont, and Southern Louisiana including Lake Charles, Lafayette, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans.
- Candidate must live in the Greater Houston area.
- This position will be a remote position working out of your home, with a short period of in office training to start.
- Be able to explain to our distribution customers how to sell our products in a distribution setting.
- Deliver sales & technical training to our dealer customers to teach their personnel that sell our products to best position those for sales success.
- Focus on counter sales staff within these distribution partners to promote our products.
- Coordinate training events at our office, and distribution partners offices
- Overcome objections to using our products that pertain to business, pricing, and product feature sets.
- Answer all business, pricing, and spec questions for each dealer customer, as needed.
- Assist in the sales process with end user clients, homeowners etc.
- Demo products as needed to assist the sale.
- Minimum of a college degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 2 years sales experience.
- Be a quick learner and take initiative with organizational needs.
- Experience with residential construction is a plus.
- Electrical and low voltage wiring experience is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Meticulous approach to sales process, and product knowledge.
- Proficiency with standard office technology, email, excel, etc.
- Strong task and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently, this role will be an outside sales position.
- Previous technical sales experience is a plus.
