GENERAL SUMMARY : Thisposition will facilitate learning for non-credit Industrial Maintenance programslocated in various locations including Tulsa, Okmulgee, and Pryor Oklahoma.
PRINCIPALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provide high-quality instruction in one or more areas of Industrial Maintenance Technologies, including : AC / DC Circuits, Electrical Control Applications, Electrical Control Devices, Introduction to PLC’s, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Mechanical Drives, Mechanical Drives 2, Hydraulics Troubleshooting, Process Control Systems, Flow / Level, HVAC1-HVAC Electrical Systems 1, HVAC2-HVAC Electrical Systems 1, or HVAC2-HVAC Mechanical Systems, Motors & Controls, etc.
Maintain accurate records of students' progress and provide them including administration when appropriate.
The instructional load may include distance learning.
Developing and updating course materials and curriculum in conjunction with the OSUIT faculty, WFED, and client.
Assume daily responsibility of housekeeping and maintenance of classrooms and laboratories.
Develop course assessments.
Willingly spend the time necessary to accomplish assigned tasks and responsibilities.
Participate in student persistence efforts.
Fulfill other responsibilities to meet the needs of the client or OSUIT.

Minimum Qualifications :
Associate’s degree in industry related field from an accredited university or college, or Certification from an industry recognized technical training program.
Other combinations of education and industry experience may be substituted for degree / certification requirements.
Evidences a history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior.
Five years of evidenced industry experience.
Teaching experience preferred.
Demonstrated success in collaborating with diverse constituencies.
Ability to plan, organize and fulfill complex initiatives.
Computer skills to include electronic communications, word processing, and the ability to use specific software associated with the position are necessary.
Ability to maintain high standards of work, initiative, commitment, ethics, professional responsibility and judgment.
Ability to work effectively with and promote diverse populations.
Superior interpersonal skills—including the ability to effectively recognize and resolve complex problems in a constructive manner.
Must exhibit characteristics of a team player, willing to take initiative and assume responsibility.
Ability to foster and support innovation and excellence.
Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively recognize and resolve conflict.
Valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
Ability to work in a high school environment.
Normal classroom physical environment; ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
