About the Department : The Department of Kinesiology has 29 full‐time faculty members and offers B.S., M.S., M.S.A.T. and Ph.D. programs in the academic areas of athletic training, sport management, exercise science, and health and physical education. Department faculty members are nationally and internationally recognized for their scholarly accomplishments, teaching excellence, and service to their professional disciplines. Minimum Qualifications :
Ph.D., or equivalent degree, in Kinesiology or in a closely related discipline, that emphasized motor behavior. The degree must be earned before August 1, 2025.
Position Summary :
The Department of Kinesiology at the University of Georgia (UGA) is searching for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor working in the field of motor behavior, broadly defined. An applicant’s research program could address questions relevant to any area of motor behavior, including motor control, motor learning, motor development, or combinations thereof. This is an academic year (9 month) position that will begin August 1, 2025.
