Job Summary :
Provide individual and group counseling, evaluation and assessment for university students with alcohol and substance abuse issues. Will also provide general counseling of students as needed.The staff member will perform administrative duties, provide emergency / crisis intervention, provide consultation to members of the university community, provide educational outreach programs, and periodically have the opportunity to supervise practicum and intern graduate students.Note : This position is an annual 10 month full-time appointment : August 1 thru May 31.

Education & Experience
Position Qualifications :
Required Qualifications :
Master's degree in Psychology, counseling or related field
Experience in alcohol and substance abuse counseling in outpatient clinical counseling either through an education degree program or professional work.Oklahoma license eligible as an alcohol and drug counselor by the end of second year of employment.
Preferred Qualifications :
Ph.D. / Ed.D. in Psychology, counseling or related field
One year related experience in a university counseling center
Oklahoma license eligible as a psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist.License must be obtained prior to hire and maintained throughout employment.
