Description :
Reporting to the Director of Advertising, the Copywriter will be responsible for writing engaging, impactful, and purposeful copy and content for a variety of audiences, channels, and platforms while maintaining university brand and editorial standards.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Responsible for crafting compelling ad copy for print and digital campaigns.
- Prepares copy for a wide range of publications for various audiences including print, social, web, and paid ads.
- Conducts research on features and benefits of academic programs and admissions processes for clear, targeted messaging in print and digital marketing collateral.
- Identifies and interviews students and faculty for profiles or testimonials to be used in marketing material.
- Stays informed about higher education trends and audience preferences to ensure content remains relevant and impactful.
- Ensures consistency with the university’s voice, tone, and brand guidelines across all communications while adhering to established editorial standards.
- Collaborates with the Creative Services team members to brainstorm, conceptualize, and develop engaging, brand-aligned copy for a variety of marketing materials.
- Collaborates with departments across campus to ensure content aligns with institutional goals and supports recruitment, retention, and engagement efforts.
- Ensures projects are carried out from ideation to completion.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
