Position Summary :
This position will serve as the principal administrative position in the Dean’s Office of the College of Public Health. The position is responsible for a broad and complex set of assignments and will be expected to work closely with the Dean and the Executive Leadership Team of the College. Incumbents will be expected to display leadership and professionalism as a key integral part of the College’s administrative team and a direct representative of the Dean. This position will work closely with a wide variety of individuals, both on and off-campus; therefore, this individual will understand the importance of providing strong customer service and projecting a positive demeanor with professionalism.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and / or Competencies :
- Display strong oral and written communication skills, a high level of discretion, sensitivity, and attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle multiple and complex tasks quickly and in an organized manner with a proactive approach to completing tasks.
- Have the capacity to work independently and as a member of a large and diverse team.
- Experience managing multiple and complex projects and initiatives involving multiple stakeholders is preferred.
