What are the responsibilities and job description for the INVESTMENT ACCOUNTING ANALYST position at InsideHigherEd?
Duties : This position's primary responsibility is to assist the manager in the monthly reporting of the financial balances of the University's investment and investment related financial statement. This position analyzes and interprets complex accounting processes to ensure the accuracy of the financial information to ensure accurate financial reporting. Duties include journal preparation to update university account records, preparation of trend and flux packages, cash flow analysis and year end footnote preparation.
Qualifications : A Bachelor's Degree, major in Accounting of Finance preferred, and 3 years to 5 years of position-related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Prior audit experience, understanding of Ben Financial and Business Objects and Office products preferred.
