Overview
This role provides technical support to ensure the smooth operation of IT and audio-visual (AV) systems within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
Responsible for general day to day support, including, but not limited to as much of the following as possible :
- Assist in setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network systems.
- Provide first-line technical support for end-users, addressing issues with computers, printers, and mobile devices.
- Perform basic system updates, installations, and configurations.
- Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of AV equipment such as projectors, microphones, speakers, and video conferencing systems.
- Support live events, including meetings, webinars, and presentations, ensuring AV equipment functions seamlessly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues during events or regular operations.
- Maintain accurate records of IT and AV equipment inventory.
- Document and track support tickets, solutions, and system changes.
- Report recurring technical issues and suggest potential improvements.
- Work closely with senior IT staff to learn and grow technical skills.
- Provide basic IT and AV training to end-users as needed.
