Required License / Registration / Certification :
Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician by either PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT); Registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.
Physical Requirements :
May require sitting or standing for more than 5hrs at a time; considerable walking may be required; ability to reach items above shoulder level and lift approximately 25lbs.
Shift :
Dayshift; 7 : 00am – 3 : 00pm; Monday through Friday; every 4th weekend.
Job Summary :
This position is responsible for the procurement and inventory management of all medications for the University of Kentucky Hospitals and Clinics. This individual will also maintain our back order and drug shortage workflows, communicating drug shortage action items to necessary teams. Will also interact with drug wholesalers, multiple secondary suppliers, and directly with manufacturers to maintain and create new WAC, GPO and 340B accounts.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities :
Windows, Word, Excel, Epic Willow Inventory, 340B split billing software, and automation (electronic perpetual inventory) preferred.

Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Buyer; Supply Chain Management.
