Posting Summary
Provide high quality academic advising and specialized academic support services to Rubenstein School undergraduate students. Work as part of the Rubenstein Student Services team and collaboratively with Rubenstein faculty to support academic advising efforts, events and programs. Engage in Rubenstein School enrollment initiatives to support inclusive excellence as well as high retention and graduation rates through outstanding academic advising.
Anticipated start date June 2025.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor's degree in a specialized or related field and one to three years' related experience required. Demonstrated skills working with diverse student populations. Commitment to diversity and inclusion. Current working knowledge of software applications used to support office operations required. Effective oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience working with university-level students desired but not required. Also desirable are : familiarity with the UVM administrative systems (DegreeWorks, PeopleSoft, Banner, myUVM, Teams) and interest in environmental issues.
Anticipated Pay Range
46,000 - $49,000

Special Conditions
Bargaining unit position, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, Occasional evening and / or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
