Responsibilities
- Provide routine administrative, clerical, and instructional support to the Externship Program. Serves as point of contact for the externship placement process and as program liaison to students, graduate, program faculty, and other campus departments, placement offices, and the Florida Supreme Court.
- Plan, organize, and promote occasional outreach and marketing events for the Externship program. Creates digital media marketing for the program to include e-mail, digital signage, and social media. Assists faculty in educating students and others on the value of externships and how they fit into students’ law careers.
- Communicates with professionals in other departments and in the community to maintain progress of assigned activities.
- Helps develop and deliver presentations about externships and related courses.
- Attends other Law school events and meetings to represent the Externship Office and remain informed of the activities of related departments.
- Administers Canvas sites for all externships and courses taught by assigned faculty. Manages content posting and resolves issues related to course materials.
- Collaborates with program faculty to evaluate and implement existing application processes as assigned. Reviews for completion and processes applications for the externships and courses of assigned faculty.
- Assists with the preparation of exam materials for the Externship Program and the exam administration process as assigned.
- Provides back-up coverage to other offices as assigned and assist with special projects.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalency and four years of experience or combination of post high school education and experience equal to four years.

Considerations
This is an USPS (University Support Personnel System) position.
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check .
This position works in the office 8am-5pm Monday-Friday, with a 1-hour break for lunch. Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends as required. Occasional overtime hours may be required during exam periods.
