Position Purpose :
The Program Planner / Designer provides planning, design and limited project management services for new program spaces, department relocation, small- and medium-scale building renovations and, occasionally, new construction. The position facilitates and manages projects from initial programming and conceptual design through project budgeting and scheduling, and, when necessary, solicitation of licensed professionals to proceed with the building permit, design development and construction processes.
Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp :
Bachelors plus 6 or more years' experience or combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities :
- Bachelor’s degree or technical certification related to interior design, construction and project management, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five years in planning, designing and facilitating projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient with design and / or construction software, such as AutoCad, Revit, and SketchUp.
