Job Description
The Central Market maintains high standards for quality and cleanliness in all aspects of our dining experience. We expect employees to be respectful and courteous to guests and coworkers. Student workers are responsible for keeping their stations clean and tidy, completing required duties, and assisting with other areas as needed.
Central Market positions vary and include duties in bakery, food preparation, cooking, cleaning, greeting guests, and office assistance. Some duties for different positions include:
- Checking guests, scanning IDs, and processing transactions;
- Operating dish washers and putting away dishes, pots, pans, and silverware;
- Preparing, serving, and replenishing food at various stations;
- Assembling boxed meals for campus groups;
All positions require maintaining assigned areas to be clean and clutter-free.
Requirements
- Must be a Central College student;
- Pre-employment paperwork must be on file with the human resources office before employment begins.
