Responsible for conducting and supporting research into suppressed travel within the Triangle region of North Carolina. The term suppressed travel refers to travel that is unrealized due to transportation-related social exclusion and associated mobility barriers.
Responsibilities Include :
- Meeting regularly with the research team.
- Processing household travel survey data.
- Organizing and processing geospatial data.
- Writing code to run statistical and machine learning models.
- Documenting and presenting methods and results.
