Transcript Evaluator (INTERNAL POSTING)
Type of Position : Staff
Responsibilities :
- Evaluates transcripts from other colleges and universities.
- Evaluates military records.
- Evaluates and audits records converted from previous student information system.
- Processes instructor initiated grade changes.
- Evaluates and records credits from Credit by Exam (Advance Standing), Tech-Prep, Articulated Credit, CLEP, Advanced Placement Credit, Life Experience Learning and all other nontraditional credit requests for academic credit and course repetition / grade replacements.
- Updates / corrects TSI status and core complete status.
- Processes incomplete grades to “Fs.”
- Processes official transcripts.
- Processes all deferments and enrollment certifications.
- Assists Admissions Clerk with entry of student applications.
- Assists with updates and corrections to general information in student files-hard copy and computer. This includes name changes, address changes, change of major and Social Security number changes.
- Cross trains for other functions in the Admissions and Records Office
- Assists with registration and graduation processes as required.
- Performs other appropriate duties as may be determined by the Registrar.
Qualifications :
Graduation from an accredited two-year college with an associate degree (when applicable, demonstrated work experience may be substituted for education)
Salary : Based on experience
