Responsibilities

• Empties small trash receptacles on campus and collects plastic bottles and cans. Transports waste and recyclable materials to the Solid Waste / Recycling department using a utility vehicle.
• Maintains a safe, clean, sustainable and attractively environment for the students, faculty, and staff of our institution. Pressure washes buildings, steps, sidewalks, and other outdoor areas.
• Removes refuse from residence halls and academic buildings. Separates refuse for proper processing and / or disposal. Operates medium weight vehicles such as open bed, flatbed, and other chassis cab type trucks complying with truck driving rules as well as university policies and procedures. Assigned to special projects as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Considerations

This is an USPS (University Support Personnel System) position.

Work schedule 7am-3 : 30pm with 30min lunch break.
