Responsibilities:

InsideHook is looking for talented young designers to join our dynamic team. Our paid Graphic Design Fellowship is based in Manhattan and offers aspiring graphic design professionals the opportunity to work closely with our Art Department on a range of exciting projects. The internship will be 3 months and may be extended based on performance and availability.

Overview:

Your dream is to create stunning visual content and get paid for it. If you'd be thrilled to gain hands-on experience in a creative agency environment, then you could be the next Graphic Design Fellow at InsideHook. This role offers the chance to work directly with our design team and executive staff, contributing to projects that span digital and print media. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly creative, and ready to tackle a variety of design challenges.

You Will:

• Collaborate with team members to develop engaging and professional decks/presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Design custom presentations and pitch decks tailored to specific client needs, using data and storytelling to effectively communicate the value proposition.
• Assist in designing visually appealing graphics for digital and print media, including social media content, website visuals, brochures, flyers, and posters.
• Ensure all designs adhere to company branding guidelines, maintaining a cohesive look and feel across all materials.
• Work closely with the design team and other departments to brainstorm and develop creative concepts for various campaigns and projects.
• Adapt presentation materials to various formats (PowerPoint, Keynote, PDF) ensuring versatility across different platforms and devices.
• Help manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
• Conduct research on design trends, industry standards, and competitor analysis to keep our designs fresh and innovative.
• Collaborate with the Branded Content team to develop visually appealing proposals, case studies, and reports that showcase InsideHook’s past branded campaigns.
• Ensure all proposals adhere to client brand guidelines and effectively communicate campaign results and outcomes.
• Create before-and-after visuals, campaign metrics, and other visual data representations.
• Accept and incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine and improve designs.
• Organize and maintain design files, assets, and project documentation.
• Update and maintain design templates for presentations to improve workflow and consistency across future projects.

You Have:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and presentation tools like PowerPoint or Keynote.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
• Experience with motion graphics and video editing is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with motion graphics and video editing software.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, CMS, and basic web design principles.
• Ability to commute to the New York office 3 times a week.
