Company Overview

Insight Creative, Inc., a leading advertising agency in Northeastern Wisconsin, seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Business Administrator to oversee and manage the business affairs. This position requires a degree in accounting or finance and relevant experience in financial management and business administration. We are open to considering both full and part-time candidates for this position, depending on their qualifications, experience, and availability.


Job Overview


The Business Administrator is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for the company, ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded and financial reports are prepared promptly and accurately. This position will also work with the entire team to ensure that job traffic flows through the agency on time.


Responsibilities:


• Manage the day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.


• Reconcile financial statements and maintain accurate records.


• Prepare financial reports and present them to management.


• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.


• Assists with Human Resource duties, including employment, benefits, and reporting.


• Assists with government and insurance reporting.


• Supervise project job flow (job traffic) through the agency to meet all project deadlines.


• Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.


• Maintain an organized filing system for both physical and digital documents.


• Handle additional duties as required to support operations.



Qualifications & Skills:


• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.


• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a bookkeeper or accountant. Experience in a marketing or communications agency or related company is a plus.


• Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel, and other financial tools.


• Attention to Detail: Good analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and detail in managing financial records.


• Time Management: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal teams and external vendors.


• Knowledge of Accounting Principles: Understanding generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant accounting practices.


• Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies and issues in financial records.


• Satisfactory completion of criminal background and credit check.


There is time to overlap with the current bookkeeper retiring late this Spring. Ultimately, you will be an integral part of the team and help to ensure the integrity of internal books, records, and week-to-week operations.

Salary : $52,000 - $65,000
