About the role
This individual will be responsible for managing sales activities for our State & Local Government segment in TOLA for Insight’s expanding Public Sector SLED division. The Sales Market Leader will need a strong background in managing sales teams, with a proven track record in attaining sales goals. The position is a challenging, dynamic, and highly rewarding opportunity for the right leader. A career at IPS offers opportunities to develop and advance. As an SLED Sales Market Leader you will get to:
- Manage a professional field sales team covering the SLG segment
- Drive sales strategy and work with account executives and sales managers to attain sales quotas
- Develop and deliver effective sales presentations to customers
- Motivate, coach, and manage sales team
- Manage Account Executive sales performance
- Build a sales team (support recruiting, hiring, and training of new employees)
- Oversee accurate pipeline management

What we’re looking for
- College Diploma/University Degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of successful sales experience in the technology field
- 3 years proven sales management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with C-level executives
