SUMMARY
The role of a Quality Control Manager (QCM) in the Department of Defense (DoD) construction projects is crucial to ensure that all construction activities meet the required standards and specifications. Familiarity with the Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS), and other DoD construction standards and specifications is essential. Conduct regular inspections and testing of construction materials and processes to verify compliance with specifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to effectively communicate with project teams, contractors, and DoD personnel.
- A keen eye for detail to identify deficiencies and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Develop and implement quality control plans (QCPs) that align with project requirements and DoD standards.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions taken.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and DoD representatives to resolve quality-related issues and ensure project success.
ROLES & RESPONSABILITIES:
· Construction Management or Engineering degree
· 10 years of experience in the construction industry, Department of Defense (DoD) a plus
· 5 years of experience as a Construction Quality Control Manager.
· Experience on DoD/NAVFAC/USACE projects.
· Must have experience in vertical and horizontal construction.
· Must understand 3 phases of quality control.
· Familiarity with RMS is a plus.
· Must be able to read and understand plans and specifications thoroughly.
· Must be able to keep good relationships with ETs, CMEs, and ACOs
· Must have the USACE Quality Control Certification

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
