Position Summary
A Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) Site Supervisor is responsible for meeting compliance standards at oil refineries, natural gas plants, and/or upstream facilities while managing a team of LDAR Technicians who carry out inspection and monitoring activities at such facilities.

Must have participated in coordination and execution of at least 1 tagging project. Must have met applicable travel qualifier(s) to other Insight contracted locations to gain exposure to various LDAR programs.
Language Ability
Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to communicate effectively with teammates, managers, directors, and clients. Must be able to communicate effectively via electronic and digital mediums including email, telephone, text message, and Microsoft Teams. Must be fluent in English.
Math Ability
Must be able to perform basic arithmetic and algebra. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
Basic computer skills include being able to use email, internet, software, databases, and other programs.
Certificates/Licenses

Duties & Responsibilities
- Proficiency in each of the items as described in the Lead Tech job description. Summary below:
- Perform routine environmental compliance inspections. Perform minor repairs on leaking equipment and manage DORs. Maintain all tagging activities.
- Utilize and troubleshoot all available LDAR equipment with proficiency.
- Complete reporting, checklist, work order, and other form activities.
- Perform QAQC activities and submit required reports.
- Maintain LDAR database(s) with high proficiency in searching and reporting.
- P&ID component and valve drawing identification, field identification, redline drawings, and true-ups.
- Consistently meet client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Have excellent knowledge of the primary facility's main processes and LDAR applicability.
- Build and assign routes.
- Have excellent understanding of the regulation and corresponding testing equipment with all 9 of the following methods: Subpart W monitoring, Method 9 monitoring, Method 21 monitoring, CEMS assistance, El Paso testing, BWON sampling, Groundwater sampling, Fenceline monitoring, and Tank inspections.
- MOC Tracking proficiency.
- Proficient in resource allocation: scheduling both labor and equipment based on project needs.
- Answer and respond to call-outs.
- Determine process stream applicability and delineation point.
- Enter daily time and expenses into ERP software. Submit on a weekly basis no later than Monday the following week.
- Complete and pass all assigned trainings on time.
- Manage an entire routine LDAR contract including consistently meet deadlines, driving KPI success, reviewing and approving client invoices, and managing the project budget.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with regulation and Insight standards.
- Directly supervise a team of Technicians including running meetings, executing performance reviews, approving timesheets/expenses, holding team members accountable, and offering coaching and support as needed.
