What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Sales Representative position at Insight Global Healthcare?
Position Overview
As a Direct Sales Representative, you will be selling our Internet, TV, phone and Voice products and services to residential customers through door-to-door selling. This means you are traveling to neighborhoods in your assigned territory, knocking on doors, and having face-to-face conversations with potential customers about the products and services that we offer. You will have a flexible schedule, you’ll get to manage your own 40-hour work week, anytime between 9am-9pm Monday through Saturday.
We give you a list of addresses that are within our service footprint, so we’ll make sure you are only going to households who are eligible to receive our services. You’ll also have the opportunity to gain your own leads and sales through networking, customer referrals, and attending marketing events hosted by our local marketing team. During our busy event season (Spring/Summertime) some weekends may be required to attend local events.
You’ll also be responsible for working with customers from the point of sale, until installation is completed. You’ll be provided with all material, uniform/company-branded apparel and an iPad to use while you are out in the field. You’ll be the primary point of contact for the customer’s questions/comments/concerns during this time. Ultimately, you want to ensure the customer goes through with the installation.
Compensation
You will receive an annual base salary of $40,000) plus uncapped monthly commission. With ramp payments for $2,000 your first month and $500 the next month!
You would also have an annual target commission of $30,000, which would be $2,500 in commission per month at goal. This annual target commission is the minimum you can achieve in commissions in a year, if you are just hitting your monthly quota. We offer uncapped commissions, so you are able to well surpass this target based on sales. If you are just hitting quota month over month, your minimum total cash compensation in your first year would be at $70,000 (includes $30,500 base, and $30,000 target commissions).
This is the minimum you can expect to receive when just hitting quota. On average, our sales reps are making $80k in total cash comp. and top producers are hitting upwards of $100k or more.
