ICU Nurse

ICU RN - 20K sign on bonus (1st half given after 90 days and 2nd half after 12 months) and up to 10K relocation reimbursement

Schedule - 3x12 -Shifts, Day 6:45am-7pm, Night 6:45pm-7am, every other weekend rotated amongst nurses

- No on call

About: 16 beds, 8 not in use, 2:1 patient nurse ratio.

Must Haves:

• Current Kansas RN Licensure.
• Current BLS certification upon hire.
• 1 year of critical care experience ICU, Telemetry, Med Surg  
• 2-Year Degree Associates or 4 year degree BSN Bachelors
• Specific Certifications are required within one year of hire
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS cert

Plus:

• At least one-year in a recent similar healthcare setting (LPN, CMA, MA, etc.)

Day to Day:

• The Registered Nurse functions under the direction of the Nurse Director/Manager and is responsible for coordination of safe patient care delivery for specified and diverse patient populations.
• The RN assesses patient/family needs, develops and prioritizes patient goals, evaluates care delivery, and continually revised the plan of care to meet the biological, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, developmental, and educational needs of the patient/family.
• The RN Delegates care as appropriate to optimize patient outcomes.
• The RN adheres to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
