Day to Day :
A client in Louisville, KY is looking for a Laboratory Medical Coder to join their team. The Laboratory Medical coder will be responsible for reviewing patient records and assigning codes to each diagnostic / procedure. Their task includes coding laboratory test, ensuring the accuracy of lab test codes for billing, and working closely with the laboratory techs, and pathologists to ensure proper documentation. The goal for this resource will be to transition Epic Beaker into TELCOR smoothly while mitigating corrupt data, incorrect routing, and denial percentages. The best candidate for this opportunity will have user experience or troubleshooting experience with TELCOR and Medical Coding experience with the pathology laboratory. The opportunity pays up to $56,000k dependent upon years of experience.
Must Haves :
- Experience with TELCOR as a user (laboratory billing platform)
- Pathology laboratory Medical Coding experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree
