Duration : 13-week, contract to hire
Working Hours : M-F 8 : 30-5pm, no weekends, no major holidays
Must-haves
- 1 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Ideal candidate has experience in an outpatient setting, but we are open to ICU / ER background with critical thinking, fast paced experience
- RN TX License
- BLS Cert
- Good IV skills, experience accessing port devices, Compassionate, Independent worker, Educator, autonomy, confidence, take initiative

Day-to-Day :
Insight Global is looking for an Oncology Nurse to join a growing team local to the San Antonio area. The ideal candidate would come from an Oncology or Infusion background, but ultimately can work in a face paced environment while delivering high standards of care to patients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to assessing patient and family needs, providing teaching and other instructional materials, preparing and administering therapies under the direction and supervision of a physician, and administer medications. Assures pre-authorization and appropriate consent forms are obtained prior to administration of therapies where applicable. Facilitates dose modification by assessing patient, assessing labs, consulting protocol or treatment plan, calculating dose, and consulting physician regarding dosage modifications, problems and symptom management Performs venipuncture, accesses implanted ports and maintains central lines catheter devices. Maintains accurate documentation of assigned patient care and treatments provided.
