A client of Insight Global is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their team in the Coral Springs, FL area. This is an onsite position, Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm or 9:30-5:30pm EST.
Job Title: Accounting Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Manage and process customer invoices and payments.
- Monitor accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
- Reconcile AR ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Accounts Payable (AP):
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Verify and reconcile vendor statements.
- Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions.
- Credit Card Reconciliations:
- Reconcile company credit card statements with receipts and expense reports.
- Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and categorized.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
- Sales Tax Remittance:
- Calculate and prepare sales tax returns for multiple jurisdictions.
- Ensure timely and accurate remittance of sales taxes.
- Stay updated on changes in sales tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit card reconciliations, and sales tax remittance.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven to be reliable and able to work onsite Monday-Friday, 9-5pm EST.
Compensation: $24-28hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
