About the Position:
We are looking for an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team at Insight Global. This is a 6-14 month contract opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of $20-$30 per hour.
As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations. You will also support continuous improvement of products and processes by participating in the design, fabrication and testing of new concepts and technology.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations.
- Support continuous improvement of products and processes by participating in the design, fabrication and testing of new concepts and technology.
- High School Diploma
- Must have the ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Must have 1 years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics
