Position: Buyer Assistant
Location: HYBRID - Onsite wed/thur at One Park Ave, New York, NY, 10017
Duration: 6 (possible extensions)
Working Hours: 9am-5pm
PR: $26/hr-$29/hr

Insight Global's client is seeking a Assistant Buyer to support procurement for a leading healthcare organization in New York City. This role manages the purchasing process from requisition to invoice, ensuring timely supply of medical‑surgical products across multiple locations. The Buyer places and tracks purchase orders, resolves supplier and pricing issues, identifies alternate sourcing when needed, and supports invoice reconciliation. Operating in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment, this role partners closely with internal departments, Strategic Sourcing, and Data teams to support sourcing decisions, improve processes, and drive supply chain efficiency.
Must Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in a buyer or office‑based role supporting purchasing functions (Buyer, Purchasing Assistant, Procurement, Operations, Accounts Payable, Financial Institution, etc.)
- Experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume, transactional environment
- Strong Excel skills
Plusses:
- Healthcare buyer or healthcare purchasing experience
- Med‑surg purchasing exposure
- Experience working in a large or complex organization
$26 to $29
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Salary : $26 - $29
