What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Clerk position at Insight Global?
Insight Global is looking for a Billing Clerk to join their client on a temporary basis. Our client is a customer-first marketing production company with a rich New York history, located in Manhattan. This individual will be onsite 2 days a week and remote 3 days a week, so having your own laptop / computer is a must. The Billing Clerk is responsible for creating invoices, credit memos, updating customer files, and sending payment reminders to customers. They will also manage account balances, collect information for calculating bills receivable, issue invoices, and handle customer inquiries. Accuracy, organizational skills, and computer knowledge are essential for this role!
The pay rate for this temporary position is $20 / hr.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- At least 6month of experience as a billing clerk
- Previous experience with month-end closing and quarter-end closing
- A curious personality
Great verbal and written communication skills.
